It’s the JEFF Time to Run program, a 10-week running and nutrition program designed by top performance coach, Johno Meintjes and expert performance nutritionist, Adrian Penzhorn. Whether you’re chasing your first time or your fastest time, this program will get you running your best 10km or 21km in 10 weeks.

How it works

The 10-week Time to Run Program combines an optimal nutrition plan, a weekly running and functional fitness plan and the support of a specialist coach to guide you through the process. Whatever your starting point, we will meet you where you are at and help you to achieve your personal running goals.

Running and exercise plan

An initial assessment sets the starting point, after which you’ll receive a weekly exercise plan including a mixture of running and functional fitness workouts. The program is designed to fit into your life – you won’t have to give up on your running club, your park runs or your time in the gym!


You’ll receive a nutrition plan, designed by a dietician specialising in running performance. The eating plan works to help you achieve your specific goals; lean up to speed up, or maintain and tone.

Coach support

Your dedicated performance coach will support you through the program, keeping you accountable on the journey to running greatness. You’ll have a number of time trials throughout the program, your coach will check in on your nutrition compliance and training performance on a daily basis.

Meet your coach

Meet Adrian, your Time to Run coach. He’s a sports scientist, dietician and performance nutritionist. He has a passion for sport, exercise and good food and helping others to appreciate these things too. He loves long distance running with a few ultra marathons under his belt. He’s a husband and dad of two, squeezing in a run wherever he can. Trail and time on the mountain makes him happy.
